When a customer comes to me they can be assured of at least two things: First, that I will listen to all of their concerns and wants, taking into account the particulars of their lives; children, pets, commute, neighborhood preferences. Second, that I will work tirelessly to find the best organic fit. My goal is to find a space that answers as many of their wants as possible while also providing them with that all so important feeling of “home” that I believe is essential to a great fit. I am a tenacious advocate of transparency and will make every effort to illuminate and clarify any points in the process that may be unclear or cumbersome.
Over the years I have purchased, renovated and flipped properties in five states. Thirty years in New York has given me enough time to live all over Manhattan and for the last decade in Brooklyn. Many apartments, two coop’s and a Historic Brownstone later, I feel that I’ve lived enough of the process to be well equipped to help others navigate their way through any real estate transaction. Time is important to me and yours will never be wasted in my care. Once we identify what you are looking for the process will be handled as quickly and painlessly as possible. There’s enough in life to stress over, allow me to do my job and make finding your next home an experience that you can look back on fondly.

Charles was fantastic. We had a complicated situation because I was in Connecticut selling a property in NYC. I have a full time job, a sick mother, 2 kids and a 3rd on the way (now here) so we never met in person! Charles had a seriously uphill battle - I''m disorganized and over scheduled, my renter wouldn''t move out, the apartment (when she finally did move out!) had been damaged and required significant TLC before we could get it on the market, I bought it through a trust 15 years ago and there were problems with the trust, the buyers kept trying to push back the closing date. Charles kept everything on track the entire way through. We were in contact by phone, text, or email at least once a week and often multiple times a day. He was responsive to my questions and concerns and went above and beyond multiple times to make sure that things continued smoothly. I would recommend him to ANYONE. He was by far the best agent I''ve ever worked with.

I had an excellent experience with Charles Gray. It''s been rare in my previous experiences to find brokers who actually take the time to listen. Charles asked all the right questions and quickly determined what I was looking for. He showed me a number of great options, all of which met my criteria.

Moreover, I never felt pressured by Charles, which made me trust his opinions that much more. And, he actually gave me some recommendations regarding where I might want to put furniture in some of the rooms - God knows I needed it. Bottom line: Charles is a true professional, an extremely warm person, and I would highly recommend working with him. I hope to again in the future.
