Originally from Detroit, New York City is the place Mark has called home for more than thirty years. He has a passion to experience everything this city has to offer, and as a long-time co-op owner in Greenwich Village/Chelsea, he knows every local store and restaurant and has friends throughout the neighborhoods.
After years of dancing on every Broadway stage, Mark decided to turn his creative talents toward the food industry. After attending cooking school, Mark moved to Paris to continue his studies, returning to New York City to become the Executive Chef of God’s Love We Deliver.
Mark also worked as a food editor and food producer for Martha Stewart Living magazine and television show. He won three Emmy Awards as well as a James Beard Award for his work in television.
Mark has a keen interest in real estate. For more than twenty years he has identified and invested in properties for himself and his family. He has also been a consultant for many renovations and refurbishments.
Mark is an avid theater buff, a frequent traveler, a skier, a boater, and an active member of the Fire Island Pines Fire Department, where he owns a home, and is involved in numerous community organizations.
