Eryn Korby (but just call her "Korby") gets the best job done for her clients by combining real estate savvy, logistics acumen, and a true passion for and knowledge of not only properties themselves, but the areas which surround them. Having lived in many NYC neighborhoods over the years, from Chelsea to the Lower East Side, and even Coney Island, her experiences here have given her broad and personal insight on how different areas can serve her clients' unique needs. Korby loves working with properties in emerging neighborhoods and is an advocate of innovative, adaptive re-use of historical sites and buildings.
Korby's goal is to guide clients smoothly through what can be a stressful time by clearly, honestly, and openly communicating each step of an otherwise hectic and confusing process. She seeks to deliver an extraordinary level of service and achieve the best and most satisfying results for the people she represents. A driven go-getter and true social butterfly who injects humor and a unique personal flair into every client encounter, an apartment search with Korby isn't complete without a gratis foodie tour and some neighborhood pop culture trivia.
Born and raised in a suburb of Detroit, Korby is a graduate of the Gallatin School at New York University and holds a B.A. in specialized Sociology. She attributes a 15-year career in the fast-paced entertainment industry to her real estate success, working from 1997-2003 in New York City, and in Las Vegas from 2003-2009. But as a home buyer in the boom year of 2005, she found that without knowledgeable and trustworthy people in your corner, the world of real estate can be a beast to navigate. In the economic downturn of 2008 she learned the hard way the importance of being educated about the ever-changing market. This harrowing experience was a huge wake up call for Korby, who quickly became a voracious reader of industry publications and market data, and made the swift decision to change her life. She returned to New York City, procured her real estate license while working full time as an event producer, and hasn't looked back.
Those looking to buy, sell, or rent in New York City should look no further than Korby for expert advice in both Manhattan and Brooklyn. She is a true partner to her clients in their quest for the perfect space.
