Andre Salerno joined the Druth team at Bond in 2013. He previously enjoyed working for a prominent Manhattan art gallery, but his curiosity of the real estate world led him to make a change. While he had no prior real estate experience, his partnership with one of Bond’s top producing teams has given him a wealth of New York City real estate knowledge in a short period of time. As a graduate of Marymount Manhattan College with a degree in Communication Arts, Andre prides himself on building personal relationships with his clients. Andre has rented in Manhattan multiple times himself, therefore he understands the stress and trepidation that is part of the process for many clients and does his best to mitigate it. He believes that the best way to accomplish this goal is to provide an education to his clients by showing them as many apartments as possible. As clients become more familiar with the dynamic NYC marketplace under Andre’s guidance, they become more confident that they are making the right decision when the perfect apartment- “the one”- comes around.
While Andre first became familiar with life in Manhattan as a child, he is originally from the picturesque town of Warwick, NY located an hour north of the City. It was there that he developed his lifelong passion for automobiles and skiing. Additionally, Andre enjoys independent cinema; he has written, produced and directed multiple short films. Perhaps most of all, Andre enjoys the outdoors which is why he has resided on the Upper East Side, not far from Central Park, for nearly a decade. Whether he is bicycling, playing Frisbee, hitting his favorite bars and restaurants or pounding the pavement with his clients in search of “the one,” Andre enjoys all that city life has to offer.
