What $3,100/Month Can Rent You Around New York City

Welcome back to Curbed Comparisons, a column that explores what one can rent for a set dollar amount in various New York City neighborhoods. Is one man's studio another man's townhouse? Let's find out! Today's price:$3,100/month.

↑ In Chelsea, a not-tiny 2BR/1BA apartment is going for $3,200/month, which seems like a deal. It has closets and everything. According to the brokerbabble it is both located under the High Line and has a living room overlooking the High Line, so that's impressive.

↑ In Bed-Stuy, a 3BR/2BA apartment in a new luxury building designed by everyone's favorite architect, Karl Fischer, is available for $3,195/month. It includes large windows, a balcony, and a bathroom with double sinks.

↑ On the Upper East Side, on Lexington and 78th Street, a 2BR/1BA with inlaid parquet floors, large windows, and equally large closets is going for$3,195/month. The bathroom and kitchen have subway tiles and the kitchen is a separate room with a window.

↑ A 2BR/2BA duplex in Clinton Hill is asking only $3,000/month. It has double-height ceilings and not one, but two private balconies.

↑ In Harlem's the Westbourne, right by Riverside Drive on West 137th, a3BR/1BA with separate dining and living rooms goes for $3,195/month. The ceilings are high, the flooring attractive, and the rooms spacious.

↑ And, finally, a modern 2BR/1BA apartment in Williamsburg's Keap Street Lofts is going for $3,195/month. The ceilings appear to be very tall.
