I received great service from Abigail "Princess" Bacani. I would highly recommend her to any of my close friends or family.

I tasked her with finding me a one bedroom, elevator apartment that accepts dogs between 70th-80th street on the east side. Oh yeah, this was on Sunday night and I had to be moved in by Friday!

Princess was organized and efficient in her search. She also was friendly but professional at the same time. After showing me several listings that fell within my criteria we found "the one". So we applied on Tuesday, signed a lease on Wednesday and I moved in on Friday.

When dealing with real estate brokers in New York City, you hear a lot of bad stories and even worse reviews...and in many cases, deservedly so. It is such a hassle and, honestly, a nightmare to think about needing to engage a real estate broker at times, which is what makes it so remarkable to find a broker like Abigail.

My wife and I met with Abigail the very same evening we made our first contact with her via text message. She was incredibly responsive, asked very thoughtful questions and when we sat down with her, she had many listings of various sizes and rent amounts in our budget, so we can get a good sense of what we could get based on what we were willing to spend.

After that, we expected to schedule times with her to see the places, which totaled 8, but instead, we went right out to see all of them that evening. The whole time, Abigail was listening to our concerns and criticisms, but also what we really liked about each place. In the end, we found a really great 1BR on East End Avenue in Manhattan that is the same square footage as our current 2BR railroad apartment, that was advertised for $245 less than what our current management company was asking in their renewal lease.

But Abigail didn't stop there...she worked very hard to negotiate that price down even further, and went so far as to negotiate a free gym membership for 6-months to the in-building gym which we did not even request her to do. The whole time, it was clear that she wanted to work for us to get us the best deal possible, and that she really knew the area and had the real pulse of the market on the Upper East Side.

Besides the work, Abigail is also incredibly friendly and easy to talk with. She was even willing to give restaurant and take-out recommendations in the area, as she herself is from that neck of the woods. My wife and I could not have been happier that we found her, and would recommend her whole-heartedly to anyone looking for an apartment on the UES of Manhattan.

I went to several brokers in the search for my new apartment and they all didn''t come through. When I asked for a 1 bedroom they gave me a studio, when I asked for a certain price they showed me one for 400 dollars more. Or, worst of all, claimed they had nothing to show me. When I spoke to Abby she claimed she could show me several apartments. I was really skeptical as brokers before her had claimed they had no one bedrooms in my price range. But she really came through! She showed me about 8 apartments in 1 day, two of which I really liked, and one that I ended up taking. It was a really good experience and I would definitely recommend her!

Shout out to an incredible broker - Abigail Bacani for exceptional service! First let me just say (for those of you who like quick service) I went in to their office at 5:30pm....by 6:30 I was approved and had signed papers for an apartment. Not too bad for New York City.

We all know finding the right apartment in NY is not an easy task. Having walked past Bond NY many times before, I decided to check out their website (in mid-April) to see what they had to offer for my May 1st move-in. Abigail had about 15 listings that were perfect for me and my budget so I reached out to her to set up an appointment. She responded promptly and we met the next day.

Abigail greeted me at the office with more energy than I could have ever expected. She was ready to find me the best apartment she possibly could. We live in a fast paced city and I wanted this done quickly and efficiently-- Abigail could sense this and catered to my specific needs, which I appreciated.

We sat down for 15 minutes, she made 10 calls, wizzed around on her computer, and off we went. First apartment we went to was a block away from the office. She showed me the apartment on the 2nd floor (which was currently occupied and nicely furnished, but had the same layout as the available apartment one floor up- the apartment I now live in). A very shrewd move on her part because that is what sold me instantly. My reaction: "I love it, i want it". We then went up to the 3rd floor (the apartment I now reside in) and the tenant who was to move out a week later was a total slob - which would have immediately turned me off - im a germaphobe. But having shown me the potential for the space INITIALLY, I was sold.

She made a call on the spot. We walked back to the office. With outstanding student loans that i haven''t been able to make payments on, my credit score was low. I explained this and she pushed HARD for me. Abigail was able to make this all come to fruition - making me one incredibly happy customer. As a young professional in NYC, money was tight and Abigail so kindly let me pay her broker fee in 2 installments during the month of May. Had she not let me do this, i wouldn''t have been able to get an apartment, bottom line.

Abigail is an incredible broker and come highly recommended from me.

Update - 2/17/2013

Princess is extremely good at what she does.

For context, I worked with Princess two years ago to find my studio. i had worked with a few brokers at the onset of that experience but primarily with Princess.

This year I was looking for a 1 br and felt that based on the success of last time, I only wanted to work with her because I knew it would be the most efficient and least painless process.

- Communication: Princess is available throughout your experience, always responsive on email, txt, call which makes for an easy overall process.

- She stuck to my criteria (need to be near this subway stop, in this price range, near this gym etc)

- Initial meeting onsite was efficient: She has an expert knowledge of market,. She efficiently runs through the options that align with your criteria. She listens and adjusts the options based on your needs very well. The time spent on site was worthwhile as it cut down our viewing substantially. *We only had to view apartments this time for 2-3 hrs one evening because she had listened and vetted so expertly before hand. Princes does not waste your time or try to sell you/pressure you into anything you want

- Viewing apts: She listens attentively as your talk about apartments you see. She does not fuss over you and allows you to view the apartment and walk around to really think about whether you want it. She chimes in at appropriate moments with the facts that you need and does not waste your time.

- Signing process: incredibly quick and efficient. She is tenacious on your behalf negotiating and navigating the various requirements with landlords. She is realistic at setting your expectations as needed throughout and keeping you updated of where the application/signing stands. She anticipates potential roadblocks and mitigates them ie. lining up my availability to sign the lease the day after she anticipated the landlord would confirm the accepted application.

Lastly, her client service mentality is such high caliber. She is a pleasure to be around. I look forward to future rentals/apt purchases with Princess.

Last year, I was faced with the task of finding an apt on the upper east side. I actually went down a list and called some 25 agents from Citi-Habitat and from Bond. Some didn''t answer, and some took as much as 2 days to call me back. Abigail of Bond NY was the only one who answered on the first call.

She was respectful about my budget, and very laid back and non-pushy. I totally felt like she was on my side all the way. I''m very picky about apartments, but she patiently showed me around all the properties I wanted to see, and suggested some too. She even helped negotiate my rent!

I have since left NY, but I recommended Bond to my sister-in-law. Abigail just negotiated a new fridge for her apartment--and it was listed "as is". Woohoo!!

Abigail was a blessing to discover in the midst of my post college scramble to find an apt. Not only is she great at her job, but she is also super friendly and nice- even forwarding me some ads for outdoor patio furniture she thought I might be interested in once I moved in. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for an apartment.

I was a little nervous about looking for an apartment in Manhattan so I decided to call a large broker, and since many of the nicer apartments were offered by Bond I decided to go with them. Abigail Bacani had some good reviews here on Yelp so I called her, and I am so glad that I did!

Abigail was very friendly and really made an effort to determine what I was looking for in an apartment in my price range. She then took me on an energetic tour of the Upper East Side and I was pleasantly surprised that I liked just about every place we saw! Abigail dedicated almost her entire day to me, so I didn't feel rushed at all during my search. By the end of the tour I had decided which apartment I wanted so I immediately put in an application and was approved the next day. The day after I went to meet with the landlord and Abigail made a special trip to meet me, just to make sure everything went alright!

I am very happy with the quality of service provided by Bond, and in particular Abigail Bacani. She made what could have been a very stressful experience into a very enjoyable one!

Princess Abigail is a true professional. My daughter had just graduated from college and found a job in the city so we needed to find her a place as soon as possible. We were searching for an apt. that was affordable, nice and within a short walking distance to the train. She didn't disappoint us and located one that we liked and met our expectations on our first morning out. She processed our application on the same day and we were approved and signed the lease. What more could you ask for. We will definitely be working with her again in the future.

This review is for Abigail Bacani for her amazing service! I contacted her only yesterday, and this morning she walked me up at least 3 flights of stairs in at least 5 different places in the area. I gave her the description of my perfect apartment and price range, and she found not one but a few to choose from - which in a way actually makes my decision more difficult! =)

But a huge Thank You goes out to Abigail for her patience and for her unusually quick turnaround time!!!

Shout out to an incredible broker - Abigail Bacani for exceptional service! First let me just say (for those of you who like quick service) I went in to their office at 5:30pm....by 6:30 I was approved and had signed papers for an apartment. Not too bad for New York City.

We all know finding the right apartment in NY is not an easy task. Having walked past Bond NY many times before, I decided to check out their website (in mid-April) to see what they had to offer for my May 1st move-in. Abigail had about 15 listings that were perfect for me and my budget so I reached out to her to set up an appointment. She responded promptly and we met the next day.

Abigail greeted me at the office with more energy than I could have ever expected. She was ready to find me the best apartment she possibly could. We live in a fast paced city and I wanted this done quickly and efficiently-- Abigail could sense this and catered to my specific needs, which I appreciated.

We sat down for 15 minutes, she made 10 calls, wizzed around on her computer, and off we went. First apartment we went to was a block away from the office. She showed me the apartment on the 2nd floor (which was currently occupied and nicely furnished, but had the same layout as the available apartment one floor up- the apartment I now live in). A very shrewd move on her part because that is what sold me instantly. My reaction: "I love it, i want it". We then went up to the 3rd floor (the apartment I now reside in) and the tenant who was to move out a week later was a total slob - which would have immediately turned me off - im a germaphobe. But having shown me the potential for the space INITIALLY, I was sold.

She made a call on the spot. We walked back to the office. With outstanding student loans that i haven't been able to make payments on, my credit score was low. I explained this and she pushed HARD for me. Abigail was able to make this all come to fruition - making me one incredibly happy customer. As a young professional in NYC, money was tight and Abigail so kindly let me pay her broker fee in 2 installments during the month of May. Had she not let me do this, i wouldn't have been able to get an apartment, bottom line.

Abigail is an incredible broker and come highly recommended from me.
