From the beginning to the end of the process Melinda Oliveira was transparent, reliable, and professional. As someone who is new to New York City, Melinda made my transition from temporary to permanent housing a successful and easy one. I applaud Melinda and respect her for tending to every one of our questions and concerns in a timely manner. I fully support Melinda and would recommend her to any young adult or post graduate trying to find housing in Manhattan or the greater NYC area. Thank you again.

Melinda was an exceptional Agent & Bond New York is lucky to have her on board. She selected a great
selection of units for me to see in some ideal places on the Upper East Side. I was relocating to NYC for a
new job opportunity and she helped streamline the process by having a list of units to see on the day I
arrived to NYC. I had only a few days to look and within those few days we were able to select an
apartment that fit my needs, execute the application, and get approval prior to my return to
Connecticut. She was able to work with me while I was out of town to assure that the leases were
mailed to me. She met me at my apartment upon my first day of moving to assure all was well. I loved
my apartment and the neighborhood was exactly what I was looking for. She took into consideration all
my requests including some that were not so easy. She paired me with a great management company

I recently had the pleasure of working with Melinda Oliveria to find an apartment in the Midtown East area. I had 1 week to relocate to NYC from Washington DC and had only 1 day to find and sign for an apartment. When I first spoke with Melinda I told her about my time constraint and she was very reassuring that she would be able
to get me into an apartment within my 1 week time frame in my desired location. She immediately asked me to send
her all my financial documents to secure a lease and then sent me a list of apartments within 2 hours to look at online.
Melinda was always available when I needed her. She responded to all my emails and text message within minutes.
When I got nervous, she was there to calm all my fears.
When I arrived in NY on Wednesday, Melinda had several apartments lined up for me see. While viewing the
apartments it was clear that I needed to increase my budget. With a new budget to work with, Melinda then made calls
and set up appointments to see other units. Within 5 hours, she found an apartment which met all my needs. Within 1 hour of finding the unit, she had the lease application completed and submitted for approval. I left NY on Wednesday knowing that I was approved for the apartment but still needed to wait to see if I could move in on Monday which was only 5 days away.
As a broker, Melinda skills were now going to be put to the test to make sure that I could move into the apartment on
Monday. She had overcome many challenges from negotiating the price of the apartment down 100.00 per month,
getting the broker to agree to a fee of 14%, having the lease ready for signing on Monday, and making sure that the
management company would hand over the keys to allow me to move into the unit on Monday.
She came through. On Monday morning, she came and picked me up at the hotel where I was staying and brought me to the BOND office to sign the lease. My movers then went to the apartment and sat waiting for the OK to start moving me in. Within 2 hours of signing the lease she told me I had permission to move in. This was simply AMAZING. She did it. She never left my side on Monday until I had the key in my hand and she inspected the apartment with me before I moved in.
All along the way, Melinda gave me information I needed to help transition to NY. She gave me phone numbers of local movers, information about the area to do shopping, and websites that she thought would be helpful. I could count on Melinda to provide any help or provide any information I needed to move. She was pleasant to work with, always had a smile, checked in with me to see what else she could to for me, and most important got me moved into an apartment in 5 days!
