My wife, Erica, and I were pretty overwhelmed when we started our casual review of apartments in New York. Luckily, Erica’s relocation benefits allowed us to work with a broker to make the process easier. Kevin reached out to us immediately and was incredibly helpful - pointing out where we should be looking, sending us listings in our budget, and just generally helping to navigate the insane world of New York real estate. But that was only the beginning. We arrived in Brooklyn to begin our in person search. Kevin met us at the first apartment and we hit it off right away. He asked us really good questions to get a sense of our taste and tweaked the visits as he learned more about our style and preferences. He kept us perfectly on time for our appointments and showed us some really amazing places. The best part about Kevin is that he never once got frustrated, kept a totally positive and upbeat attitude, and was always professional. If we decide to stay in New York we plan to hire Kevin for help moving within the city or if we decide to purchase a property. We wouldn’t have found our amazing place in Clinton hill without him. Kevin Maher was great to work with- he was given less than a week to put together rental listings for us to visit and was incredibly patient with me. We probably walked over 20 miles across two days and I was able to find a place that checked off most of my wish list given the NYC constraints. He set up repeat appointments for my final two options and came with me when I signed the papers so was there for every step which was great!
