Barbara Riddle-Dvorak

Licensed Real Estate Salesperson

Barbara Dvorak is a born-and-raised Greenwich Villager who attended PS 41 and PS 3, moving on later to college in Oregon (Reed College) and graduate school in Boston (Brandeis University). She’s lived all over the world, including London and Prague, and now divides her time between New York and delightful downtown St. Petersburg, Florida after 20 years in San Francisco raising her L.A.-based filmmaker daughter. You can find articles about Village history by Barbara in WestView News, a monthly independent newspaper published in the West Village (byline, Barbara Riddle). A travel buff, she is also a fan of foreign and independent films and improvisational comedy. (A current hobby.)

Barbara’s attention to detail and fierce dedication to educating and supporting her clients in making wise decisions are her strengths. She loves to help first-time homeowners, as well as those buying for children who are beginning college or new jobs in the New York area. A genuine team-player, she has helped clients move in both directions between New York and San Francisco, and is also looking forward to sharing information about the St. Petersburg area for those who might like a second home or a permanent residence there. Barbara welcomes informal, no-obligation consultations about your real estate needs and questions.

Because I am have a long time relationship with my realtor, I''m not in a position to use Barbara''s services. That said, she has offered sage advice and support in my several recent real estate transactions, to include masterfully editing the description of my latest condo on the market. Her description of herself in her write up is utterly accurate: I''ll add that she is unusually resourceful, personable, and low pressure (actually no pressure). She will be comfortable for any potential client to simply chat with as that person explores options.
