We started to search for an apartment in Manhattan seriously in September 2019 and to be honest I am not sure how we came into contact with Sarith Shemtov other than probably by a web introduction as we started to search for an a new home. We just closed on a COOP apartment this week and felt the need to send a formal recommendation for Ms. Shemtov. Sarith helped restore our faith in working with a Realtor...We had not had great experiences in the past....BUT Sarith breaks the mold. She listened to me and my wife as to what are needs were, where we wanted to live, wanting to explore neighborhoods, looking at alternatives and making herself available to answer a million questions and being willing and able to follow up and get back to us quickly. She was always straight forward and direct but at the same time she always used the phrase, "I want you to be happy." We were moving into a COOP and were shocked to find that she collected all the materials to submit to the Board and put together a stellar and professional board package. She also has a unique ability to work with individuals from of all professions from maintenance staff to other realtors to attorneys with total respect. This has not been an easy time to buy real estate in New York due to the pandemic but Sarith made it so much easier and while we told her we appreciate her we thought it was important to let others know... We will be recommending Sarith to others who are looking for Real Estate in New York City....Especially, hopefully our children!
