Tom Rhoads

Licensed Real Estate Salesperson

Tom’s empathy and care for others defines his approach to real estate. He does everything he can to make sure his clients are happy and most importantly, that they have found a place they can call home. He believes that a home is a sanctuary and he wants to help his clients find their safe place.

Tom expertly guides his clients along their journey and works tirelessly to achieve their goals. He treats each client’s home buying or selling experience as if it were his own, putting himself in their shoes. He fosters long standing relationships with his clients built on trust. Tom’s enthusiasm and positive attitude for NYC makes him eager to help lead the process so his clients can feel confident and excited about their journey and have a great experience.

In addition to real estate, Tom has an exciting parallel career as a professional actor and singer. He has appeared on Broadway, Off Broadway, and on tour and in concert halls as well as on television and in film. His experience as a performer has instilled in him a determination and optimism to meet the challenges of any situation. For 13 years, he also worked as Special Assistant to the renowned Dame Angela Lansbury and was blessed to have made his Broadway debut with her during her last appearance on a Broadway stage. The work ethic and lessons he learned from her as his mentor not only as an actor but also about life in general have underpinned the integrity, honesty and dedication he brings to his work in real estate. His experience as an actor and assistant have helped develop the outgoing personality, skills and intuition needed to handle the multitude of situations that may regularly arise in real estate and to do so while inspiring trust in the people with whom he interacts – it is, after all, a business about human connections.

A native of Michigan, Tom graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Communications and did advanced training in acting and singing at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London (RADA). He has been in NYC for over 10 years and during that decade, he has lived on the Upper East Side, Chelsea and currently lives in Hudson Yards.

Along with singing and acting, he loves to travel, spend time with friends and family, swim, snow ski, attend theater, the opera and the many and varied cuisines of the restaurants in NYC.
