Sophie Braud

Licensed Real Estate Salesperson

Sophie started her real estate career in Texas during the pandemic, however, she’s always wanted to bring her love for real estate “home” to New York City. With a parallel career in dance performance, choreography, and education, Sophie aims to listen to the wants and needs of her clients, and organize their experience in a way that is stress free, efficient, and exciting.

As a professional real estate salesperson, Sophie draws on her performing arts career where hard work, persistence, and preparedness went hand-in-hand with enthusiasm, motivation and encouragement. Having toured the country in the Lincoln Center Theatre Production of My Fair Lady directed by Bartlett Sher in the role of a Swing where she understudied nine roles, and hopped into the production at a moment’s notice, she became an expert multitasker. Sophie makes it her priority to ensure her clients’ experiences are as stress free as possible while working hard to exceed their expectations.

As an agent who represents buyers and sellers, both rely on her for her trustworthiness, honesty and communication. She has an unparalleled work ethic and resilience, refusing to give up on her clients’ goals no matter how challenging.

Sophie is very familiar with the landscape of NYC, and has lived in numerous different neighborhoods over the past five years including Hamilton Heights, Washington Heights, the Upper West Side, and Midtown among others. She loves the hustle and bustle of the city and the vibrant energy of the New Yorkers. For Sophie, the unique charm, diverse culture, and inherent camaraderie are qualities that make this city and community one of a kind.

In her hometown she has always made it a priority to give back through volunteering her time and talents to further assist continuing education in the dance world. She is also an active member within her church congregation; it is important to Sophie to utilize the talents and gifts that she has been given to make a positive impact in the world around her. Sophie lives by the proclamation of Booker T Washington who said, “If you want to lift yourself up, lift up someone else.” If she can make a difference in one person’s life, then she is fulfilled.
