I'm writing this review for Crystal Hayes because she is seriously a godsend.

After scouring Craigslist and other apartment rental search engines for a studio within walking distance to NYU, I realized i was in over my head trying to hunt for an apartment without a broker. I decided to contact Crystal after reading Louisa Z's review.

Crystal has one of the best work ethics I've ever encountered. She's unbelievably experienced and thorough, and overall really enjoyable to work with. During our initial phone consultation, she asked me many questions to understand exactly what I was looking for with regards to rent, commute, apartment amenities, etc. She then emailed me listings to give me a better understanding of what to expect during our meeting. Since I was coming from out of state and had a tight schedule to find the perfect place, Crystal also made sure I compiled all of the appropriate documentation before heading to NY.

I've been told that looking for an apartment in the city is worse than getting a root canal without novocaine. Luckily, I had Crystal's expertise to help me find the perfect place. During our meeting, we viewed around 10 apartments. I never felt like Crystal was trying to push me beyond my means. She seriously had my best interests at heart. It was an added bonus that she's also one of the friendliest and happiest people I've ever met.

I fell in love with a studio blocks away from campus and knew it would be my future home. I got nervous when I noticed another girl felt the same way. Faced with fierce competition, I began to get nervous that the perfect apartment would be snatched from under me. This is where Crystal's years of experience were worth her broker's commission. Because Crystal had a strong working relationship with the management company and experience, she knew certain things that the other girl didn't. I was able to sign the lease for my village gem at the end of our appointment. I heard the other girl was devastated. I'm sure she spent the next few days searching for another place in the crazy summer heat while I enjoyed my free time exploring the city. Maybe she'll learn from her mistake and hire Crystal.

Overall, I really enjoyed my experience working with Crystal. I would recommend her to anyone relocating to attend NYU. Actually, I would recommend her to anyone looking for a great broker. She's seriously the best.

I had a positive experience with Bond mainly due to our broker, Crystal Hayes. Crystal is both professional and friendly at the same time. She is down to earth and realistic and she really makes an effort to cater to her clients' needs. She is very hardworking and she certainly did her job because I found my dream apartment on only the 3rd day of working with her! I could not be happier with Crystal's work and would highly recommend her.

My experience has only been with one agent at Bond, Crystal Hayes, so I cannot comment much on the firm as a whole. But I would highly recommend Crystal for anyone looking to find an apartment in NY. I have now worked with her twice, once in 2007 (she found me a great apartment), and once recently.

She is highly professional in all aspects of the service: her apartments are all well displayed online, she takes great care in researching and finding the right places to show, and she is very knowledgeable and helpful in negotiating and closing the final terms. My wife and I were impressed by single apartment she showed us.

I have lived on and off in NY for many years, and I have worked with a number of agents, and have had some shockingly bad experiences. But I can attest that Crystal is trustworthy, highly competent, and a pleasure to work with.

I recently relocated from Chicago and was looking to move into a nice studio in NY as soon as possible. After our initial consultation, Crystal showed me a range of apartments all within my budget, in a variety of locations downtown, and was able to accommodate my busy working schedule. I never felt rushed to make up my mind.

Crystal’s approach was great because 1) she set up a ton of appointments for apartments that fit my wish list based on our initial consultation, 2) she always asked for my feedback on what I liked and didn’t like from each of the apartments we saw, and kept that in mind when deciding what apartments to show me next, and 3) answered any and all questions I had about the different NYC neighborhoods, what my commute would be like to work from a particular apartment, etc. All in all, as a first-timer to NY, I felt much more educated about the NY real estate market after looking at apartments with Crystal.

Luckily I was able to find my perfect apartment (a spacious studio in Greenwich Village with a doorman, high ceilings, a terrace with a view, and a short commute to work) within a week of my initial phone consultation. Crystal was extremely accommodating, super nice and friendly to work with, and I always felt like she had my best interest in mind.

All in all, I’m very happy with my experience with Crystal and I would recommend anyone frustrated with their apartment hunt to give her a call!

My girlfriend and I were looking for our first apartment together, kind of a big deal! I must say, we were fortunate enough to have Crystal Hayes from Bond NY be our broker. We started our search working with several brokers from listings on websites ranging from Craigslist to NakedApartments. Our experiences with other brokers weren''t horrible but with Crystal it was fantastic. Once we met Crystal we worked exclusively with her. We provided a range we are willing to spend and the neighborhood we wanted to be in (SOHO). Crystal found multiple places around the area we wanted and was very flexible to show us the apts when we had time, often late afternoon, weekends, and through 4th of July. Once we found our perfect place in the heart of SOHO, Crystal was very diligent on sending the application and following up with us and the landlord through the lease signing. We found a terrific apt and were very lucky to work with Crystal during the process. Douglas Wagner, her manager was also very flexible and great to work with. Thanks Crystal and Bond NY.

Crystal Hayes is a full service agent! I was completely satisfied. From the first contact with her to the signing of the lease she was with us every step of the way (even a follow-up call to make sure the move went well). Always prompt, always courteous, always helping. We were moving from out of state and hit a few bumps along the way and Crystal handled them all with complete professionalism. Crystal responded within a half an hour of my first inquiry regarding the apartment. She was very efficient in contacting the landlord of the building to make sure my roommate and I could rent the apartment - as we are both students and first-time renters. We were able to visit the apartment that day, and Crystal helped to get things turned over very quickly for our approval. Any question or concern we had was immediately addressed and answered. The pictures she posted of the apartment and the price were both completely accurate...which is not always the case with some brokers. I highly recommend working with her!

Me and my roommate Alicia were fortunate enough to get places in the hands of Crystal Hayes. We just moved from Sweden to Study at Newschool in New York and thought that it would be a nightmare to find an apartment especially us being international and students and having a fairly low budget.

When we first met Crystal we described our dream apartment and location etc. She immediately responded " I promise to find you your perfect apartment", and she sure did! After looking at about 4 apartments the last one was the perfect one for us and we immediately decided on it!

She listened to exactly what I wanted, made sure I came prepared with all of my paperwork, and showed me nothing but the best apts for my budget.
