Barbara Harris has been in the real estate business for over 19 years, solidifying her reputation as a real estate professional who provides integrity, added value, and highly personalized service to every client she works with. She has been responsible for sales and rental properties that range from smaller investments to some of the most prestigious addresses in New York, from the Upper East Side and Upper West Side to Harlem, Battery Park City, and Riverdale. Her philosophy throughout her successful career has always been the same: no matter how large or small the purchase, each and every client is important and handled with the same amount of care and respect.
She has always applied the passion and drive that has carried her so far in real estate to everything she has done. Before joining the real estate industry, Barbara was a pioneer as a publicist, manager, and director in the music industry, helping to shape the careers of some of the brightest stars in the business, including Aretha Franklin, Donny Hathaway, and Roberta Flack, among others. She was mentored by Ruth Bowen, owner of Queen Booking Theatrical Agency. Her professional experiences also encompass fashion, antiques, and fine arts. Barbara was chosen by Black Enterprise Magazine for Female Achievement in Economic and Public Life in the 1970s.
Throughout her experiences, Barbara finds the beauty in all people and all things. She is fortunate to have the trust of her clients who value her experience, talent, and knowledge and is grateful to serve their real estate needs.
