Chris Orbach comes to Bond a quintessential New Yorker, and a natural fit for the Chelsea Office.
Born and raised in Chelsea in the 70’s and 80’s, he rode his bike in a parking lot across from his old house on 22nd Street that looked right into the back of the Chelsea Hotel. He played in the street during the blackout of ’77. He followed his big brother’s band down to clubs like CBGB’s and The Ritz. His father, actor and New York icon Jerry Orbach, brought Chris to work with him up to Broadway theaters where he watched his dad in shows like Chicago and 42nd Street from backstage. Chris would later work as an actor in front of the camera with his dad on Law & Order and Law & Order SVU.
Chris went to public schools in Chelsea before attending the High School For The Performing arts for drama, going on to graduate from New York University with a BFA in film & television production in 1991. Since then Chris has been an actor, musician, writer, and most lucratively, an a-list TV and radio voiceover artist, having had accounts with several Fortune 500 companies and working with some of the biggest advertising agencies in the world over a 20 year career.
As a real estate agent, Chris brings intelligence, energy, enthusiasm, taste, attention to detail, and great communication skills with him, while his personal history wraps him in an old New York pedigree and feel for this town not many can lay claim to. Having been on both sides of the table as a buyer and seller of property of his own, Chris has seen first hand from the client/customer side how a great agent can make all the difference, and strives to bring the same expertise and guidance to everyone he works with.
When not helping buyers and sellers find each other, Chris loves playing the guitar, running marathons, and most importantly, spending time with his wife and son.
