A lifelong New York City resident, David can best be described as an enthusiastic, service oriented individual with a commitment to his clients.
Before transitioning into real estate, David Pomerantz had a successful career as a hospitality professional managing luxury and boutique hotels in Manhattan. During his hotel management career he assisted in the reopening of a well known hotel on the Upper East Side and was part of the opening team of a luxury resort hotel in Rio Mar, Puerto Rico. David then transitioned from General Manager in the hotel industry to Executive Director in the senior living industry. During his tenure as Executive Director for a national senior living chain, he was nominated Executive Director of the Year and the recipient of the Quality Assurance Award.
His experience in the hospitality industry has made David a focused listener as well as a fierce negotiator. He has always championed his clients’ needs focusing on exceeding their expectations. He brings these same skills of service excellence and business acumen to his position at BOND.
David has bought and sold his personal residential properties in Manhattan and Connecticut and is passionate about New York real estate. On his downtime he is constantly scouring the New York Times real estate section, attending open houses and touring new properties. An avid walker and bike rider, David knows the city inside and out and enjoys experiencing the diverse offerings within each neighborhood as well the area’s architectural and historic significance. He has been a history buff regarding the development and growth of New York City.
David has a BA from Long Island University graduating Magna Cum Laude with a double major in Psychology and Sociology. He also has a certificate in Food and Beverage Management from New York University. He currently lives with his family in Morningside Heights. He enjoys swimming, tennis, foreign films and attends the annual New York Tennis Open.
