Dawn Plyley

Licensed Real Estate Salesperson

Dawn is a self-starter, an excellent problem solver, and a creative thinker. These skills are invaluable to her clients who rely on her ability to see the larger picture in every real estate transaction. She works with both buyers and sellers, approaching each without any preconceived ideas and offering her honest, thorough expertise for each situation. Compassionate and committed, Dawn sees her clients through the entire process.

Dawn’s previous work as a professional fine arts painter and academic advisor at the School of Visual Arts helped her hone her negotiating skills. She learned how to expertly accomplish goals for a diverse group of people by being a tough negotiator while maintaining a courteous and supportive approach.

As a co-op owner for 22 years in Hudson Heights and having served as a board member of that building for 6 years, Dawn knows first-hand the challenges that can often arise when buying or selling a home. She also has the solutions and tools to overcome these challenges and is passionate about her work, treating her client’s own experience as if it were her own.

Having lived in New York for over 40 years in Soho, NoHo, the West Village and Greenpoint, Dawn has fallen in love with the diversity and resilience of the city. She is equally in sync with the madcap pace of the city and the quiet spaces which exist just around a corner.

When not assisting her clients, Dawn likes to spend her time gardening, cooking new recipes for her family and friends and playing ball with her dog Bella. She is also a supporter of the National Disaster Search Dog Foundation in Ojai, CA.

I moved in next door to Dawn and I immediately liked her. I admired Dawn for her creativity, her high intelligence, her honesty and I knew in my heart that she was someone I would always trust. When my daughter was born and was a mere one day old, I held her out to Dawn and entrusted her to hold her. Shortly after, my husband and I chose Dawn to be my daughter''s God Mother. Lucky for us she said yes and has always been an important presence in her life. What does this have to do with being a Real Estate Agent you can trust? Everything. I cannot recommend Dawn enough as the person you choose to help you make one of the most important, stressful, expensive decisions in your life. You too will be making a testimonial like myself.
