Approachable, reliable and fiercely strong-minded, New York native Maria Quinn offers her real estate clients a deep well of city know-how and a self-professed “bulldog determination.”
Drawn to the profession by her own personal real estate investment success, friends and colleagues warned her it could take years to earn her first deal. She proved them wrong by closing 11 deals for buyer and renters in just the first two years. Maria is known by her clients as a caring, clear communicator and intuitive matchmaker throughout the property search process. She also has a reputation for being a tenacious negotiator at the closing table. Her passion for design and deep network of contractors make her an incredible asset during renovations.
Formerly a television journalist, Maria has put a number of skills she learned in that profession to work for her real estate clients. “Newsgathering and production gave me confidence and the ability to navigate the city with ease,” she explains. “Asking hard-hitting questions is what I did as a journalist, and it’s how I negotiate real estate deals. Nothing is insurmountable, and tenacity is strength!”
Raised in Brooklyn, Maria holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and English from Rutgers University and resides on the Upper East Side. She is an avid recreational cyclist and CitiBiker. In fact, it’s her preferred form of transportation. “Biking makes me effective in reaching appointments quickly because I’m never stuck in traffic.” When not hard at work or biking around town, Maria loves spending time with her husband, her grown children, and Alfonso, her beloved black pug.
