"We would like to thank Pawel Ciecwierz for all the hard work and commitment during the purchase of our property. Pawel was always very courteous, dedicated, and always kept us informed of all the activities from the beginning till final closing. He was constantly helping us resolve the numerous issues in reaching to final closing. He was beyond great in resolving the issues between lawyers on both parties, bank, and building management.
He made the process fast, smooth, and painless for us. We highly recommend Pawel as a real estate agent."

"Dear Pawel:
Minkyoung and I just wanted to quickly reach out to you and express our gratitude for all of your help and guidance during the period of time leading up to the closing on our new apartment this January. As you may recall, MinKyoung and I had been searching for an apartment for over a year before we met. During that time, we worked with many real estate "professionals" who not only lacked knowledge of the industry, but were also rude, unprepared, and failed to follow up when presented with simple inquires. Up until the time we met last September both MinKyoung and I had completely lost faith in anyone even remotely associated with the real estate industry. However, through our interactions, our faith has been renewed. Even during our early interactions, you were always courteous, knowledgeable and always punctual. There was also never an occasion to which you did not follow up with our many inquires and concerns. Even when we began to lose our patience as delays on the sellers'' side caused the closing process to drag along, you never lost patience and always provided the reassurance we needed to move forward. In the end, you provided excellent direction and guidance based on your expertise, which allowed us to secure our home. We are truly grateful.
Finally, as we continue to settle into our new home, we feel truly confident in referring our friends, family, and colleagues to you. Thanks again for all of your help!"

Jake Gyllenhaal Eyes $3.5M Soho Penthouse At 65 Thompson

Of the Gyllenhaal siblings, Maggie's New York City real estate dealings—she ditched the West Village for Park Slope in the early aughts and absolutely adores the neighborhood—are much more widely known than those of her brother, but the Post's Jennifer Gould Keil hears that Jake Gyllenhaal is house hunting in Soho. The actor reportedly checked out the 2BR/2BA penthouse of 65 Thompson Streetcurrently listed for $3.55 million. The unit was recently treated to a $400,000 renovation by architect Massoud Ghassem, and it has a walnut-paneled foyer, marble bathrooms, and a walnut walk-in closet. There's also a balcony off the master bedroom and a private rooftop terrace designed for "fabulous, Hamptons-like entertainment."

The New York Post

Published 12/11/2013 - By Jake Gyllenhaal House Hunting in SoHo

Modal Trigger

Jake Gyllenhaal is house hunting this holiday season. He recently checked out a stunning two-bedroom, two-bathroom penthouse at 65 Thompson St., which is asking $3.55 million.

Gyllenhaal has been buzzing in the news this week when he revealed on “Ellen” how he hurt his hand on the set of the upcoming “Nightcrawler” indie film. “A mirror broke in the middle of a scene that I was shooting,” the actor said.

The penthouse he toured comes with its own “Hamptons-like” entertaining space and private rooftop zone.

There is also a fireplace, chef’s kitchen and walnut wood panels in the foyer. The listing broker is Bond New York’s Pawel Ciercwierz.

Follow the Leder

Lisa Leder, the ex-wife of hedgefunder Marc Leder, co-CEO of Sun Capital Partners, just bought a $12 million apartment at Walker Tower.

Mr. Leder is known for throwing mid-life crisis-style Hamptons parties; he also hosted the fundraiser for Mitt Romney where the then-presidential candidate made his infamous “47 percent” comments. Lisa, we hear, will be more inclined to host elegant dinner parties than bacchanalian bashes in her new pad. The Walker Tower broker, Dana Power at Town Residential, declined to comment.
