Jimmy went above and beyond to help me choose the best studio apartment! He showed me the ins and outs to make sure I understood exactly what this apartment offers. I had such a smooth and stress-free experience working with him as I signed for my first place in NYC! He is truly the best property owner’s broker I have ever met!! 10/10 highly recommend!

Caren was incredible. I''m still in shock I got the apartment of my dreams. She was so nice and communicative and really approachable as well. She answered all my questions, even the ones I asked multiple times.

I feel extremely lucky to have found Priscilla in what can be a stressful process finding a place to live in Manhattan. She is ultra responsive and her levels of service go above and beyond what I’ve experienced in the past. I feel cared for and at ease working with Priscilla and she will definitely be my first call the next time I move.

We had the pleasure of working with Nicole to purchase and then to rent. She is extremely knowledgeable and walked us through each process step by step. She is very responsive. Was always available when we needed her and professional.

Everybody knows that securing a spot in Manhattan is akin to nails on a chalkboard, but Spencer made it a breeze! I was working with odds that weren’t in my favor, I had to find housing in a 2 week period and I was stressed out. My friend had passed me Spencers’ contact info, and we had an initial call. We talked about my preferences and my likes/dislikes, and like magic, the first apartment Spencer showed me matched my budget, the type of neighborhood I wanted to be in, and every amenity that I mentioned as a must have. Spencer is efficient, friendly, professional, and is definitely now a friend. I couldn’t recommend anyone else, Spencer is the ‘97 Bulls.

Would highly recommend working with Olivia. She was so professional and helpful from the get go. She gave us a detailed and thorough understanding of the apartment, the application process, and management. The entire apartment hunt from beginning to end with Olivia was transparent and she was so nice to work with!

Elena was our selling agent for our late mother’s co-op in Lincoln Tower. Elena was introduced and recommended to us by a close relative for whom she sold two apartments in the same complex of our mother. We were impressed by her professionality, knowledge, efficiency, hard work, caring and patient demeanor. She advised us and helped to present the apartment in the best possible manner and therefore she was able to negotiate the best price for the apartment. We are happy to have been able to work with Elena and will definitely recommend her for any RE needs.

April 2024 by Erin T,
I am writing this review because Brian Mark went above and beyond finding me the perfect apartment in Brooklyn Heights! I originally contacted Brian in December, when I came across one of his listings. That apartment (although very nice) wasn’t the perfect fit for me. However, I LOVED the building. I could see on StreetEasy that everyone else loved the building too, because there was very low turnover. I told Brian how much I loved the building and he promised to call me the second a new studio became available. He kept me updated along the way (almost 3 months!) and called me as soon as a studio he knew would be perfect for me was about to hit the market. He called me on a Saturday night as soon as he heard, which shows how hard he works for his clients and how dedicated he is. Even though the apartment was occupied and my schedule was very tight, he flexed his schedule to show me the apartment at the only time that worked for me (time was of the essence, as this building is super competitive). He even reached out to the building management and requested they keep the prior tenant’s AC installed as a convenience for me (management requires professional installs that are very costly). Brian truly helped me find a needle in a haystack and kept the most positive attitude along the way. He put everything into finding me my dream apartment when another agent probably would have told me to be more realistic or forgotten about me. I would highly recommend working with him (and his colleague Mark). Thank you, Brian!

Clinton

$1.18 million
350 West 50th Street, Apt. 34F

Two-bedroom, two-bath, 1,005-square-foot condo in elevator building (Two Worldwide Plaza); apartment has terrace, hardwood floors and laundry; building has doorman, concierge, health club with pool, garage and courtyard; common charges $1,253 per month; taxes $1,435 per month; asking price $1.19 million; one month on the market. (Brokers: Gabriel Bedoya, the Corcoran Group; Ann Takahashi, Bond New York)

“My buyer, a private investor, was referred to me. Her original aim was to find an apartment for her daughter, then [she] saw the value as an investment. We looked at 35 apartments, made a couple of offers and finally chose this one. [The buyer] was enamored with the water and skyline views, the custom-designed built-ins for storage and the full-service building. A major challenge was working with the lender. The sale took a bit longer than expected due to bank delays caused by the increase in sellers wanting to close by the end of the year. Even with the buyer’s outstanding relationship with the lender, it was still an arduous task to get the process expedited.” Ann Takahashi, Bond New York

Upper West Side

$1.39 million
150 West 79th Street, Apt. 2EF

Three-bedroom, three-bath, 2,300-square-foot co-op in prewar elevator building (the Dorset); apartment has hardwood floors; building has part-time doorman, live-in super, roof deck, bike room, storage, laundry and backyard; maintenance $2,320 per month; asking price $1.39 million; three weeks on the market. (Brokers: Pamela Berman, Stribling & Associates; Louise Phillips Forbes, Halstead Property)

“This was my first real estate deal! The previous owner, Jack Gottlieb, recently passed away after 30 years in the apartment. One of the co-executors of the estate is a longtime friend and colleague from when I used to work in the theater business. My friend offered me the exclusive. Gottlieb was [composer] Leonard Bernstein’s longtime associate, so I had a joke about the walls of the apartment being able to sing. It was a spacious apartment with great “bones,” but needed renovation to open it up and modernize it. [In pricing the apartment], we knew that most buyers would want to spend a good deal more to renovate it to their own tastes. I would have to say that the buyers found us. I released the listing, and two days later I had my first — and only — open house. The buyers felt that the space and location worked for them. Once the new owners were approved by the co-op board, everyone was quite satisfied.” Pamela Berman, Stribling & Associates

Upper West Side

$1.6 million
90 Riverside Drive, Apt.10C

Two-bedroom, two-bath, 1,300-square-foot co-op in prewar elevator building; apartment has formal dining room; building has doorman, concierge, gym, storage, laundry and courtyard; maintenance $2,120 per month; asking price $1.65 million; five weeks on the market. (Brokers: Ann Cutbill Lenane, Douglas Elliman; Jennifer Bogner, Maxwell Jacobs)

“The buyer, a good friend of mine, asked me to go to a few open houses with her, and we went to three of them. As soon as she saw this one, she knew. It’s a beautiful building; it has high ceilings. It’s not a really large apartment, but it has a feeling of grandeur. They wanted to put in their own style of kitchen, and that wasn’t a problem. The building has a half-basketball court. They have a 13-year-old son, so the court wasn’t a requirement but it was a huge plus. It was really important for the seller to close by year’s end because of the change in capital gains taxes at the end of 2012. We were a little nervous about the year-end closing because they had to get a mortgage, but it all worked out. The contract was signed in October and we were able to close and get the mortgage by year’s end.” Jennifer Bogner, Maxwell Jacobs
